Conditional Type 2


 

Conditional sentences are sentences in English to express wishes, hopes and prejudices.


Conditional type 2 is used to express something that is unlikely to happen.

 

Using the formula:

If + Past tense + Past future

 

Can also use:

Past future + If + Past tense

 

Example:

1.If you read it all, you would get dizzy

2.If i had wings, i would fly to Switzerland

3.I would go out more often, if i lived in a village

4.I would buy skincare if i had money

5.I would go with you if you have time
